Welcome to Jefferson Elementary School: Home of the Jaguars! My name is Jesse Peters and I am honored to be the Principal of Jefferson Elementary School. We have over 300 students across grades 4K - Fifth Grade at Jefferson. We pride ourselves on our continued learning.
Our mission states that we will ensure the growth of all students and excel together. We accomplish this by creating a safe and nurturing learning environment where all students feel confident and grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
As we progress in our commitment to high levels of learning for all students, we focus on three main methods. First, our focus is on student learning. Second, we work collaboratively with each other, with our students, and with our student’s families to find ways to help each student. Third, we are results oriented. If something we do isn’t working for a student or set of students, we will find a new way to help them.
Our school Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is an important part of our school community. They plan multiple school / family events and help our students in a variety of ways. We always appreciate anyone that can become involved with our PTO or at Jefferson Elementary school, for even a short amount of time.
Please explore our school website for more information. We look forward to each day of helping our students grow and excel. I welcome you to contact me at petersj@bdusd.org or 920-885-7392 x 4101 with any ideas, questions, or needs.
