Business & Marketing
The Business and Marketing courses offered at Beaver Dam High School offer students an opportunity to diversify their overall elective personal experience as well as provide a focus for students interested in pursuing a career in the field. Many of the courses are offered for dual credit and students enrolled in these courses have the opportunity to earn college level credit in addition to the credit toward their high school graduation.
Family & Consumer Science
Beaver Dam High School has maintained comprehensive program offerings in many elective areas, including Family & Consumer Sciences (FACS). The FACS team prides itself in offering students over a dozen opportunities to explore their interests and talents in areas that are rich in application and career opportunities. The department focuses their efforts in three different sequence areas (Foods, Fashion and Child Care). A highlight of these sequences, is the opportunity for students to earn college credit in three different areas, including a number of opportunities for state level certification and Youth Apprenticeships in the service industry.
Technology & Engineering
The Beaver Dam High School Technology & Engineering program offer students a wide variety of opportunities that include studies in automotive/power technology, materials processing (metals & woods), drafting/design, STEM and apprenticeships. Students studying in this field are able to do so in eight uniquely designed laboratory environments.
