Our future students and prospective families are critical to the success of Beaver Dam High School. Each year is an exciting transition as we welcome over 250 new students as Freshmen to our school community. In addition, because of other realities, such as moving, open enrollment opportunities and others, we find fortune in the opportunity to serve new students at all levels throughout the year.
Resident students are able to enroll and register at BDHS through traditional processes. Please contact the High School Student Services Office at (920) 885-7365, ext. 2114. Other students that take advantage of the Open Enrollment opportunity must go through the state mandated Open Enrollment process. As part of this process and our investment in making sure that the transition is smooth for our incoming freshman, our high school counselors meet with all incoming students. Whether our counselors visit your child at their school during their 8th grade year or an individual meeting is scheduled at the high school, we work diligently to personalize your education from the very beginning and get to know you and your families. In addition, all freshman take part in an orientation process and transition experience through our Link Crew. New students at other grade levels are also welcomed through transitional meetings that are differentiated dependent upon the reason and timing of transfer to BDHS.
We welcome you to our school community and look forward to differentiating the learning experience for all of our students to help them meet their post-secondary goals. If you have any questions about the specifics of what we offer our students, please contact one of our school counselors or a member of our administrative team.
