My name is Heather Holt and I would like to welcome you all to the ALEKS and APEX courses at the high school. I would also like to share a bit about myself. I have two wonderful children, and two dogs. I enjoy reading and spending time at my children's various sporting events. I also enjoy spending time learning new computer skills and programs.
I spent twelve years teaching at-risk students at the DSLA. I believe that at-risk students are in need of a strong advocate to assist them through their school years. I have spent my entire career meeting the needs of alternative learners. Together we can make all students successful.
