Candidate Eligibility

A school elector in the School District is eligible to be a Board member. (Board Policy 0142.2)

Term

The term of each Board member is three (3) years beginning on the 4th Monday in April. (Board Policy 0142.3)

Spring Election Schedule

December 27, 2024: Incumbents Notice of Noncandidacy Deadline
January 7, 2025: Candidate Filing Deadline
February 18, 2025: Spring Primary Election
April 1, 2025: Spring Election

Election/Campaign Finance Forms

Paper forms are also available at the Educational Service Center, 400 E. Burnett Street, Beaver Dam, between the hours of 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday-Friday. Completed forms must be delivered to the Educational Service Center no later than 5:00 pm on January 7, 2025.

Declaration of Candidacy

All candidates seeking ballot status for election to school district office in the State of Wisconsin must properly complete and file a Declaration of Candidacy. This form must be ON FILE with the proper school district clerk no later than the deadline for filing nomination papers or the candidate's name will not appear on the ballot.

Campaign Registration Statement

All candidates seeking ballot status for election to school district office in the State of Wisconsin must properly complete and file a Campaign Registration Statement. This statement is an important part of compliance with campaign finance laws and the representations made on the statement affect the candidate committee's campaign finance reporting obligations.
